Todd Clever, nicknamed Captain America, is captain of the USA Rugby Team. Clever also plays internationally for the NTT Shining Arcs in Japan. Clever’s rugby career started in high school at Santa Teresa High in San Jose, CA. In college Clever played for the University of Nevada, Reno where he was a 3x College All American (2002-2004). In 2009 Clever became the first American player to ever play in the Super 14 with the South African Lions. Voted the North American Player of the Decade, Clever is one of the most decorated American Rugby players of all time. His size, athleticism and power make him one of the most elite athletes to have ever donned a rugby uniform.
